White Wood Floors

The most expensive part of "Operation Second Floor" includes installing white wood floors in the two bedrooms on the 2nd floor.

To make sure that I would like wood floors, I removed the nasty wall-to-wall carpet and then painted the subfloors white. I LOVE them! So now it is time to install the real deal. NOTE: By "install" I mean pay someone else to do this for me.

Big Daddy's Dresser

My grandfather, Big Daddy, passed away a few years ago. In addition to a lifetime of fantastic memories of a very unique and loveable fellow, I ended up with a some treasures.

One such treasure is a very handsome dresser. A dresser that is begging for a makeover. It's most probably drenched in lead paint. And, more unfortunate, it smells.

Like poo.

Everything I store in the dresser ends up smelling like poo too. Which, as you can imagine, is not a good trait in a dresser. Or much of anything.

All that said, if the smell can somehow be removed (thoughts?), it could easily be made to look like this and sent to live in the guest room.
